2025 ASBO NY Spring Conference
Last week, Rel Comm had the opportunity to attend the ASBO NY (Association of School Business Officials of New York) tradeshow in Saratoga Springs, NY. This annual event brought together education professionals, business leaders, and technology providers from across the state to discuss innovations and solutions that support New York schools. Rel Comm was proud to be among the many organizations committed to improving school operations and safety through modern communication systems.
At our booth, we highlighted our trusted communication and emergency notification technologies, with a strong focus on Mitel Revolution, a powerful alert system already deployed in over 70 school districts across Western New York. This platform provides instant communication across classrooms, buildings, and entire campuses—ensuring that staff and students are informed and safe during any emergency. Many attendees expressed interest in the system’s ability to integrate with phones, message boards, and overhead paging to deliver clear, timely alerts.
Rel Comm team members were excited to connect directly with school business officials and technology directors during the tradeshow. These conversations gave us valuable insights into the current challenges schools face—especially in maintaining secure, efficient communication systems in large or aging facilities. It also gave us the opportunity to share success stories from districts we’ve worked with, demonstrating the real-world impact of our services.
In addition to our product demonstrations, we attended workshops and sessions that covered everything from cybersecurity to funding strategies for infrastructure improvements. Being part of this dynamic environment not only allowed us to showcase our capabilities but also to stay current with the evolving needs of New York’s education sector.
